I'm really hoping the baby comes this weekend, preferably tomorrow (Saturday) since my doctor is available all weekend... That'd be mighty convenient. *grin* Of course, nothing ever goes according to plan - so I'm not really counting on it. lol.
I had my 40 doctors appointment yesterday and everything was looking good. I didn't gain any weight this week (yay!), my bp was good, blah blah blah... Baby was also doing well. I'm still 2 cm dilated and 60-70% effaced, so no progress since last week. While I'm bummed I didn't change in the last week, I'm still thankful to be that far along since a lot of first timers are still closed up tight at this point. I'll take what I can get!
Jer and I ran to the grocery store after he got off of work this afternoon since our fridge was comprised of condiments, a few eggs, and some lettuce. While there we got to park in the New and Expectant Mothers parking spot and GUESS WHAT?! We finally remembered the camera to get a picture! We've been meaning to get a picture with this sign for months now! Way to wait til the last possible day to do it! lol.
Alright, I guess that's it for now. If I'm still pregnant next week I have a doctors appointment on Monday and another on Thursday. I also have a NST test (stress test) on Thursday to make sure the baby is still doing well. Hopefully I won't still be pregnant next Thursday... I guess we'll see!
