Still alive

Long time, no post. Some quick tid-bits on what's going on:

• On the non-baby front, we were in a car accident, yikes! Totaled our Toyota in a freak monsoon storm. Long story short: hydroplaned on the interstate, 180'd it into a guard rail. Everyone is ok, including the two dogs in the back seat. We are now proud owners of a Honda Accord as well as 3+ years of car payments, yea!
  
• Nursery is painted (thanks to Lauren) and crib was assembled last night. Everyone helped with the crib, including the dogs that just had to be in the middle of all of the action. Lauren should be putting up photos, etc soon that documented the painting and crib assembly fun.
• We've been to two "birthing classes" thus far at the hospital learning about the 4 stages of pregnancy. A lot of info, but the highlight of the first class was by FAR the dated video they showed. They showed this mother-to-be in early-90s parachute pants and HUGE hair. Lauren just about peed herself trying not to laugh out loud. She snorted and attempted to cover it with a cough - if I would have looked at her I'm sure she would have made a mess all over the floor.

Off to Woodhaven for some quick camping this weekend, may be one of the last Woodhaven trips without a child in tow.
