So very tired...

I kid you not, I could put my head down on my desk right now and be out cold. I've been beyond exhausted for a few days now, to the point where I can usually only go a few hours before I NEED a nap! Well, when you're at work all day it's kind of hard to fit in a nap. So yeah. Needless to say, I've been a less than model employee this afternoon. I figure just keeping my eyes open is nothing short of a miracle. I think I deserve a raise!

I think I got spoiled yesterday (Sunday). My parents left around 1 p.m. and I just crashed on the couch and either napped or watched Food Network most of the afternoon while Jeremy was off brewing with friends. Then I went to bed at around 9 p.m. and was asleep within a few minutes. lol.

Oh well, at least I don't have any morning sickness! *knocks on wood*

Anyway, so I had my first crazy craving last week. I've never been much of a cravings person, so I figure this has got to be pregnancy related... I mean, I do get a taste for certain foods sometimes, but never like this. Oh my God. Ask Jeremy, I drove him insane for days on end! What did I want? Fruity Freakin' Pebbles! That crappy, waxy cereal! It's never been a favorite of mine, ever. But I decided that I wanted it and it's seriously all I could think about. Well, we only grocery shop once a week, so I kind of had to wait it out until Saturday when we went to the store. Then I made a big mistake. I bought generic. Like the original weren't bad enough, I buy the generic. That first bite was SO disappointing because it wasn't what I wanted. They didn't taste the same. They didn't look the same. And there was no waxy coating in my mouth. Don't ask me why, but I wanted that! hahaha. Still, this disappointment didn't stop me from eating two giant bowls of the stuff. Now that was a nutritious lunch! Luckily, though the generic Fruity Pebbles weren't like the original, they were close enough to make the craving go away. Thank God. I hope to never crave that crap again.

Oh, and you should ask Jer sometime what exactly made me start craving Fruity Pebbles. It just goes to show how my brain is functioning these days......

  1. I suggest you build a shelf for an alarm clock under your desk and take a nap..it would probably be nice and roomy! haha
