Lauren and I went in for her second checkup this afternoon so we could hear the heartbeat for the first time. It took the doctor quite a while to find it - baby was hiding on the far left side. Two videos below (the "whoosh whoosh" sounds are Lauren's heartbeat - you can tell the baby's when you hear it).
Our doctor is who you hear speaking. Her official guess - it is a boy, based purely on the "gallopy" heartbeat. Of course this is just a guess, but I hear she is right nearly 50% of the time!
